Why we built this
We could keep the quality—or reach more students.
We wanted both.
We are Miri and Yoomee.
Miri applied to college with no one guiding her, asking older students for advice and searching online without ever knowing what to trust. She was eventually admitted to MIT and the Ivies. It should not have been that hard.
So we started answering admissions questions on YouTube. Those questions became MY College Consulting, where we have since advised more than a thousand students worldwide, including students admitted to every Ivy League university, Stanford, and MIT.
But good guidance is hard to scale. So we built a system to capture how we evaluate students, balance college lists, identify what matters most, and decide what comes next.
Unni is that system, built into software—our frameworks, training, and judgment, available anytime at a fraction of the cost.
